Be A Part of The Walking Dead This Halloween

For zombie fans who wish that they could be a part of The Walking Dead universe, AMC and Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights is going to make your fantasy a reality. The power duo have teamed up to create an attraction based on the hit comic and television series which will allow fans to navigate through elaborate mazes this October.

Universal studios at Orlando and Hollywood are currently working with AMC  to create an authentic haunted house experience that will make any fan of The Walking Dead feel as though they are fighting alongside Rick and his crew in Georgia.

Greg Nicotero, Co-Executive Producer and SFX artist for the show stated, “We want people to experience the same terror of the walker-filled reality our characters faced in seasons one and two – and will continue to face in our third season…“Our collaboration with Universal Studios’ creative teams is exciting as we work to truly capture the essence of the show.”
In response to the event ‘s newest attraction, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Universal Orlando Resort, Jim Timon said, “The Walking Dead puts real people in incredibly horrific situations where they experience true, raw fear, and guests at Halloween Horror Nights experience the same thing…we can’t wait to merge the two powerful concepts together.”

Just two days ago it was confirmed that Universal will open up a Silent Hill attraction, making it the first time that a video game franchise has ever been adapted into a haunted house for the park.

Jim Simon stated, “This is our first partnership with a video game property and we are very excited to create an unparalleled, all-new level of horror for our guests…we can’t wait to watch our guests actually walk into the hell that is ‘Silent Hill.’”

Halloween Horror Nights takes over Universal Studios at Orlando and Hollywood from September 21-October 31. For more details on the event and how you can score tickets, visit their website . In the meantime, check out the announcement video for TWD below:
